May I Present RRTF Babe,
We at Cosmopolitan Horse Farm feel so honored to have this gorgeous girl joining our ranks. She was awarded 2006 Grand Champion Foal at the inspections overseas, prior to being imported. This means that not only is she a 1st Premium Rated filly, but she was also able to beat all of the other foals at the inspection for Grand Champion. The judges at the inspection liked Babe so much that one even tried to buy her!
Of course, with her Sire being Comanche, it is no surprise that she's found herself winning in the show arena. Comanche, now owned by Lucky Star Stables, is one of the few European Rated Ster Premium stallions both overseas and in the U.S. In fact, Babe was the first filly by Comanche to be released into the U.S.! His bloodlines can be traced back to The Lob and The Banks Mare, names well known within the Gypsy community. He was matched up with RRTF's Nell, a 2nd Premium rated bay blagdon mare. She added a ton of height and even more feather to the combination. Nell is in Europe, so this combination will never be duplicated!
Babe has been winning over hearts non stop since she first touched down in the States. Her goofy personality makes people smile, and her sweet face just demands attention. A carbon copy of her Sire, Comanche, with her inky black coat, flashy blagdon markings, and great conformation make her a wonderful addition to the Cosmopolitan herd. Add to the fact that she has more feather than most horses twice her age, and we couldn't be happier with how she's turning out! Her movement will make her an ideal prospect for dressage or hunter/jumper events. When all of her mane and feather go flying, she's sure to impress the judges! Her disposition, however, is really what wins people over the most. She's got a fanclub from all who have met her, and she's had more than her fair share of people trying to take her home. Luckily for us, Babe is here to stay!
We are looking to breed Babe for the first time in 2012!!! At this point we are considering pairing her with our very own Harrison, but contact us if you'd like to discuss details about a custom in-utero.
