May I Present Jackson,
That's right, everybody, it's a colt! Boy what a surprise this little guy was. Dolly gave us absolutely no warning, but on July 19th she foaled a GIGANTIC colt. Jack is by the amazing stallion Nelson, the first 1st Premium Rated stallion on the West Coast. His Dam, Dolly is also a 1st Premium rated mare (The 1st in the U.S.). This makes Jack literally one in a million. He is the First 1st Premium to 1st Premium bred foal in the U.S. to date. His breeding rings true, providing an amazing quality colt with a disposition to match.
The first time Anna walked into the pen with Jack, he walked right up to Anna looking for an introduction. He hung around for a small scratch before returning to Dolly. His disposition just shines through, following not only the Vet but Anna's young son Aidan around as if he were a dog. He begs to be scratched and will stand there for days as soon as you start. As you can see from the photos of Jackson, with Aidan as a cowboy, one couldn't ask for a sweeter colt.
Did I mention that he is a looker as well? The Vet was speechless when she saw Jackson for the first time. She couldn't believe how big he was, expecting him to top out close to 15.3hhs if he continues his current growth pattern. He's a beautiful black and white colt, with what looks to be one dark blue eye and one brown eye. He has white eyelashes on one eye, and amazing markings. His tail goes from white, to black, to white yet again, making it look like a backwards Oreo Cookie (TM). He even has a smiley face pattern on his barrel and a rainbow neck on top of powerful shoulders. He sports an incredibly short back and legs that seem to go on for miles. On top of this he has a ton of feather and hair already, making him just an ideal stallion candidate for the future.
Keep checking back for regular updates on Jackson as he continues to grow and develop into the amazing herd stallion his breeding predicts.
***New Photos of Jackson are Below. He's 2 years old in these pictures! He looks so much like his Sire!***
