| No live cover will be offered, only fresh semen. | | Every mare to be bred must have a clean uterine culture within 30 days of breeding. No exceptions! | | The mare must be up to date on all vaccinations (including rhinopneumonitis) and worming. Records must be provided from a certified Veterinarian | | All mares intended for breeding must be in good weight, good condition, and in gerneral good health. | | Mare owners must provide a copy of the mare's paperwork, photos, as well as video of the mare showing conformation, feather, movement, and disposition. | | Horses with poor or aggressive temperments will not be approved for breeding at any time. | | Any mares with signs of CPL (Chronic Progressive Lymphedema) may be asked for additional Veterinary analysis from a Vet selected by CHF. | | Conformation faults such as club foot, parrot mouth, ewe necks, and various other obvious conformation faults will prevent breeding approval. | | No mares under the age of 4 will be bred! Even though it is something that has been done overseas and has been adopted by a few Gypsy owners in the U.S., I do not agree with the practice. Drafts must be provided plenty of time for proper growth, both physically and mentally, before something as physically demanding as raising a foal. | | All foal owners will be asked to keep us updated on the foal's development, especially in the event of the foal being offered for sale. We retain First Buyback Option as described in our Stallion Service Contract. | | No foals produced by CHF may be started under saddle (No weight bearing, all ground training and preparation for starting under saddle is okay otherwise.) or bred prior to the age of 4. This is to ensure that each foal is provided adequate time to grow and mature before these demanding activities. | | Any bills must be paid before the semen will be collected or shipped. Semen requests must be made according to the signed contract. | | All mare owners must sign and adhere to the Stallion Service agreement and contract prior to collection. |
